Hoian in the evening is so charming and enchanting with the color from those lanterns, streets and building, especially when they block the road so it is so nice to walk without bikes around. There are endless places for people who love taking photos. The nice temperature and breeze from the river just make the night wandering even more enjoyable. The most beautiful road should be Nguyen Thai Hoc Street from White marble restaurant to Sakura restaurant.
Finding a nice bar, enjoy nice drinks and street watching:
What could be nicer than grab a chair with the street view, where you can both sipping your favorite drink and watching the lively street in the evening? There are many good bar with nice view such as Before and Now bar at Le Loi street, Q Bar at Nguyen Thai Hoc street and many other bars on Nguyen Phuc Chu street.
Shopping at Hoian night market:
Hoian night market is such an idea place to buy different types of gifts and souvenir. You also can try a lot of food, ice cream, and many type of fruit and smoothie. There is no fix price in their items, so you will have an interesting game of negotiation. The lantern shops here are such a perfect place to take many beautiful photos.

Your night will be better with a river cruise on the sampan, you will get on a ride along river, enjoy the beauty of this town in the evening with all brightness and enchanting color from the lantern and buildings. There is no fix price about the river cruise, so you need to make sure the price before you get on the boat, and make sure the price including paper lantern so you can do release them on the river and make a wish, one of the highlight of our trip.
Be careful if your boat go underneath the bridge, you need to lay down which is a very interesting moment of this ride.
