Program:

After gathering at the meeting point, your friendly, knowledgeable, hospitable tour guide will provide you with lots of information and take you to sample great street food at the places that you would generally walk pass as a tourist. The tour opens your eyes to a whole different world of street food such as Banh Beo, Beef noodle, rice cakes…Then we will stop at a big grocery store to buy some rice, candies, toys, yogurt …for the local social centre. You’ll fall in love with the most beautiful little children. The children love to meet new people. After having time to sing, dance and play with them, we continue on the culinary journey. We’ll try one of the most famous Banh my (bread) in Hoi An made by an 85 year-old grandma’s recipe. The Cao lau noodle at a family’s restaurant will make you want to come back again. Next, your tour guide will take you down the alleys into a beautiful house to meet the oldest man in Hoi An (105 years young) who has more than 80 years cooking experience making Xi Ma black sesame soup, in the old town. 

Finally, we finish the Hoi An Helping Hand Food Trail with a cup of authentic Vietnamese coffee.
